More Cloud, Less Worry
Visibility-as-a-Service (VaaS) into Public, Private and Hybrid Clouds
In the cloud, data moving between virtual resources like web browsers, applications, and databases—referred to as east-west traffic—is more difficult to intercept as it may not leave the virtual switch.
The dynamic nature of the cloud along with a distributed architecture means that there is no defined space where an organisations data resides or where an application runs. This further complicates troubleshooting application performance issues.
Designed from the ground up to run in the cloud as either an Agent or Docker Container and by utilising metadata from the source instance, CloudLens automatically identifies if the monitored tool is a APM, NPM, IDS or SIEM.
This allows instances to be grouped and rules to be applied to ensure only the required filtered packet data goes to the correct tool.
As organisations migrate workloads to the cloud their traditional monitoring solutions no longer have access to the physical infrastructure or hyper-visors. This means that they may no longer be able to meet their security, compliance and monitoring policies.
A visibility solution can make monitoring more efficient and cost-effective by sorting and filtering raw traffic, stripping away unnecessary data, masking sensitive information, and seeing deep inside packets to identify relevant information, such as user Internet Protocol (IP) address, device, operating system, application, or location.
Supporting all major Cloud vendors including AWS, Azure, GCloud and validated by major tool vendors including Dynatrace, Wireshark RSA and FireEye CloudLens can scale dynamically to ensure that you have complete visibility into secure workloads in enterprise, cloud, or hybrid deployments.
